Kenneth MacMillan's 1974 ballet comes to the Kino-Teatr screen. In the seedy underbelly of 18th-century Paris, money is king and even love can be bought. Manon is torn between the devoted student Des Grieux and the glittering promise of Parisian high society.

Set to Massenet's score with designs by Nicholas Georgiadis, this is a signature work of The Royal Ballet. With two intervals, as part of the Kino-Teatr Royal Ballet and Opera cinema season.
