Maths Up The Mountain: Brook Tate documentary and live MatheMusical preview

A documentary by Bristol painter, writer and musical theatre maker Brook Tate, followed by a live preview of his MatheMusical.

Brook's Multicolour Maths teaching system uses only colours and shapes, removing the numerals and symbols that can make mathematics so anxious-making for children and adults alike. The idea came to him in a dream after he was inspired by Alan Turing, and he has since trialled it in schools and presented it on the BBC. His stage show Birthmarked played the main stage at Bristol Old Vic and a month at the Edinburgh Fringe.
