A solo performance of storytelling and song, weaving together history, folklore and music through the tales of three sea voyages: stories of wrecks, rescues and migration, with the wild elements and the human spirit at their best, worst and most beautiful.

The voyages begin in 1605 with Fionnlagh, who is desperate to escape his dying island home. They continue in December 1919 with Donald, a naval reservist returning to Lewis on The Iolaire, and in 1945 with the Paalberg family, who flee Estonia across the Atlantic aboard The Erma.

Simon Stallard is an award nominated actor, musician and music researcher, and a Gaelic singing competition winner at the Royal National Mod. He sings in Scots Gaelic and English and plays flute and whistle.

Starts at 7.30pm, with a 15 minute interval. The theatre bar will be open.
