East Dean and Friston Art Show, 2-4 May 2026.

East Dean and Friston Art Group will be holding its annual Art Show from 2.00 – 5.00pm on Saturday 2nd and from 10.00am – 4.00pm on Sunday 3rd and Monday 4th May 2026, in the East Dean & Friston Village Hall, (Village Green Lane, East Dean, East Sussex BN20 0DR). Entry is free.
there will be fund raising activities for St Wilfrid’s Hospice, these will include our exciting new ‘Art Bites’ display with the theme of ‘Spring’. The exhibition will showcase the talent and diversity of styles and subject matter within the group. A wide range of original paintings and cards will be for sale, including landscapes, still life, wildlife and abstract art in a range of media. Payment can be by card or cash and there will be a café selling home-made cakes and refreshments. Regular buses from Eastbourne and Brighton stop in East Dean and there is free car parking in the Village.
Eastbourne-based artist Alice Hesketh will be officially opening our Art Show on Saturday 2nd May. Alice paints contemporary, figurative paintings inspired by people and nature, and she took part in Sky Arts Portrait Artist of the Year 2025. We are looking forward to welcoming visitors from around the South Downs during our three-day Show.
