Like many communities all over the country, the parish of East Dean and Friston, including Crowlink, Birling Gap and Gayles Farm, has been developing a Neighbourhood Plan to define how the parish should evolve and thrive in the long term to meet the needs of its residents.

Our plan documents the community’s aspirations for change and development, lists our cherished green spaces, views and heritage assets, and defines a set of policies in order to help maintain and enhance the culture and character of the area.

To ensure that we present an accurate reflection of the community’s aspirations we are holding this consultation events at the East Dean & Friston Village Hall.

You will be able to read the full draft plan, examine the maps, documents and charts that have been produced and provide your own views and opinions.

For residents and businesses of this parish this is a great opportunity to review the Neighbourhood Plan as it stands so far, to ask questions and to provide feedback and suggestions that we can incorporate into the final version. We hope to see you there.

From the 2nd September, more information can be found at: http://www.edfparishcouncil.org.uk/Neighbourhood_Plan_24625.aspx
