On Wednesday October 29th, Newhaven Youth Centre in partnership with Newhaven Youth Workers Infrastructure, will be hosting ‘Charlie's Promise’ an event designed for young people to discuss the rising issue of knife crime in our communities.

The event will be presented by Martin Cosser, founder of Charlie's Promise Charity and father of Charlie, a Surrey teenager who died after being stabbed at a party in July 2023.

Young people aged 11+ are strongly encouraged to attend, you can just turn up on the day. Parents, carers and older siblings are also warmly welcomed to this extremely important event, tackling knife crime in our community.

Charlie's Promise Charity is dedicated to helping the fight against the rising issue of knife crime across the UK.
