Lovers of classic French cinema will love Nouvelle Vague. The comedy drama has Marbeck as Jean-Luc Godard, Deutch as Jean Seburg and Dullin as Jean-Paul Belmondo in a story that chronicles the shooting of Breathless (1960), one of the first feature films of the French New Wave. At the 51st César Awards Linklater became the first American film maker to win Best Director.
