EASTBOURNE BARN DANCING CLUB Wanting to exercise but find it boring? Would like a pleasurable activity with plenty of laughs?
Then come along to their weekly Barn Dancing sessions. Dancing is prescribed by many physicians as the best way of keeping both physically and mentally fit.
This year's Club sessions start on Wednesday 3rd September at 2pm with the first 4 weeks being a collection of simple dances to introduce the basic steps and set formations to those who haven't done any barn, folk or country dances before.
They meet every Wednesday afternoon 2-4pm (doors open 1.45pm) in the newly refurbished Mead's Hall (Mead's Street entrance) from September through to Easter of next year with a short break in December.
The sub is only £3 per attendance which includes the refreshments at the half time break. No partner nor prior experience needed as each dance is walked through beforehand and prompted during the dance.
This Autumn, up to the end of November, all the dances chosen are level 1 (i.e. simple ones!). All ages welcome. So come along and join their friendly crowd of dancers. Please contact Colin Broome on 01323 646846 to register your interest in joining them and to obtain any further information required
