An illustrated talk from Charlie Grimble.
Charlie throws light on the role the Fitzgerald Charity had by using its ownership of the largest property portfolio in the town. He illustrates how it supported both the growth of the Almshouse, and also played a role in the improvement of the town from a sleepy fishing village to a ‘town beside the sea’.
